Researching the
history of a cemetery

The episode shows the old Jewish cemetery in Münster.

Prof. Dr. Marie-Theres Wacker and Ludger Hiepel MA from the University of Münster’s Faculty of Catholic Theology report on their project of documenting the cemetery. Starting with the gravestones and the buildings of the cemetery, they tell stories from the community in Münster (1810 until today), and of important people who were involved in rebuilding the Jewish community after 1945.
